RAW files are data files, not pictures! You can choose the way Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) interprets the colour, Lightroom uses Prophoto RGB colour space automatically. Prophoto RGB is a good choice for ACR and Photoshop too, because it has a similar (though wider) gamut to sRGB, whereas Adobe RGB is a little bit different.
